DIRECT FIT

At KingGee we have our own in house design team that embraces the challenge of creating a uniform that meets all of your objectives. We take pride in our designs, and value the way our concept will support your company’s objectives. We acknowledge the role of a new uniform to be an important milestone and therefore understand how critical launch is. We work together with your staff through focus groups to ensure that our design concepts and philosophy are creative and functionally sound. Our designers work on a philosophy of “fit for purpose design”, paying attention to the smallest of detail. KingGee can also draw on experts in other fields, collaborating with companies such as 3M, Dupont and CIBA.

A FIT YOU CAN TRUST

Inconsistency in standard sizing across brands is a well-known phenomenon. The Victorian Manufacturing Minister, Andre Hagermeyer, suggested the creation of a national voluntary standards code to make shopping easier for consumers:

“These variations [in fit] result in significant confusion for consumers who often can’t be exactly sure what size garment they are buying” - 29 March 2005, Sun Herald. For uniform wearers, inconsistency in fit results in confusion, frustration and cost. So for KingGee, a commitment to quality also means a commitment to best fit. And that commitment extends to all wearers of workwear – no matter what shape, size or age. To ensure the best possible fit across all fittings and sizes, KingGee has, as an industry first, developed and invested in fully formed 3D figures representative of the full range of body types and sizes. KingGee has invested in an intensive research program, fit-testing and wear-testing all of KingGee’s classic garments with real workwear wearers. This process, which is strictly adhered to, ensures that KingGee garment sizes remain consistent across the full product range.
